Description
(vegan) Sicilian blood orange
The “Arancia Rossa di Sicilia” is found across large areas of Sicily. The Tarocco fruit, also known as half-blood because of its light flesh, has a thin, orange skin and a slight red tint. It is one of the most popular oranges in the world due to its sweetness and juiciness. It also has a very high vitamin C content. Moro, on the other hand, is a type of blood orange that has a deep red flesh and a bright red peel. The taste is stronger and the aroma more intense than that of a normal orange. This fruit has a distinctive, sweet taste that is reminiscent of raspberries. A fabulous combination!
